About Us

Welcome to your "World on the Fringe"

We are proud to offer a website that welcomes and includes Trans Women/men, Fetish, Bisexual, Gender Queer, Gay, Lesbian, Couples, Crossdressers their friends, supporters and admirers.
"World on the Fringe" allows each individual member to create their own "World", be it public, semi-private or totally private. Your individual "World" can be g-rated or x-rated depending on your comfort levels.
Few social websites recognize diversity -- especially when it comes to gender-identity or adult content.
With this in mind, World on the Fringe started as Ladyplus.com and was launched originally in 1997. Our primary goal was to provide visibility for Trans women and their admirers. During this time, Ladyplus.com
has provided information on T-Girl events (mostly in Toronto and surrounding areas) and a safe, non-judgmental setting for T-Girls including sex-workers, to network. In 2006 my business partner/friend Todd Klinck
and I became proud owners of Goodhandy’s - a successful Pansexual based Nightclub (adj. Relating to, having, or open to sexual activity of many kinds) therefore includes T-Girl admirers, trans guys, bi and bi curious individuals,
gender queer individuals, cross-dressers, gays and lesbians.

Because of these initiatives, "World on the Fringe" and Goodhandy's Nightclub has built a solid community and has proved that not only Trans people have a place in this world, but everyone who choose to be different.
We make no apologies or excuses for our gender choices and/or social differences.

Regardless of your reasons for joining, I hope you will enjoy this site and what it has to offer. "World on the Fringe" offers T-Girls a chance to transition with dignity, to be more informed, to celebrate their transitions publicly
or to be discreet and private as they find their way. We also allow women and men to explore their sexuality whether they are Hetrosexual, Homosexual, Lesbian, Bisexual or Questioning. And we allow consenting adults to experiment online, even if they choose to keep things private and secretive from their other World.

We do not discriminate at "World on the Fringe". We encourage and respect all phases of transition, all expression of fetish/kink and everyone’s right to privacy.
The people on this site are to be treated with respect at all times by our visitors and members, but most importantly -- by each other.

"World on the Fringe" is more than a networking community, this is our piece of the world. All are welcome to observe, participate and indulge in its many wonders.
